Mothers are considered by many to be the most important person when it comes to parenting. Sometimes it may seem unfair to fathers but that's just the reality in many situations. The instincts of a mother when it comes to her children cannot be underestimated. Even when a child does not say anything, she can easily tell if something is up with the child. A mother is able to discipline a child and show affection even when it is in public. One reason why a mother is sometimes more influential in a child's upbringing is because a mother often spends more time with her children than dads. This is especially true if the dad works out of the home is isn’t involved in the child’s life at all.
