"Room" arrived today and already I'm quite a way into the story.At first the scene is set so you get to know how Jack and his mother have been living, captive, for the past five years-----then the escape! The story is fiction but after various similar cases in the news recently, it is very believeable and well written, as one would expect from Emma Donoghue though very different from other books I have read by her. I shall be reading into the night as I just can't put this book down.
