Samenvatting

This book is a condensed version of the many books I have read on my personal journey of self discovery and success. I was clinically diagnosed with mild bipolar depression at a critical point in my adult life when everything on the surface would tell you "He's doing great and on the right path." To get this diagnosis as a relatively young adult definitely caught me off guard and left me with a few options. I was placed on depression medication which I really believe that I needed at the time. I used the many methods and practices I share in this book to regain control of my emotional state and was taken off of the depression medication and I am steadily improving a pretty kick ass life for myself. I knew I did not want to be on this medication forever. The option I chose was "Fight". I I have always read and listened to the motivational/ self help genre of books so when I decided to fight I completely submerged myself in the category, physically and mentally applied what I learned, and felt inspired enough by my journey to the point where I felt obligated to write something about it. Not obligated like a chore, but obligated to share in the hopes I can save ANYONE some of the time and anguish I experienced on this ride. If you are familiar with most of the ideas and concepts I discuss in the book the only thing that I hope is you at least take a different perspective from some of the ways I phrase my thoughts, or at least share it with someone you may know who is battling something in their personal lives and may benefit from the content. DISCLAIMER: I am not a medical professional. If you're clinically depressed and on medication I am not stating this book can help you get off of the medication like I did. I am merely sharing my story and what I did to achieve my results. Thanks in advance and I wish nothing but the best for you.
