Ah... Dan Browns long awaited "Lost Symbol". I have to say: reading all these reviews nearly put me off it. So many people so disappointed.
I have to admit, I loved the book.
Yes, there were a few things terribly similar to earlier books, but stop comparing already. It's a book on it's own. I loved that it had more symbolism, more esoteric puzzles, more Robert Langdon, more lectures, more enigmatic tales of obscure and fascinating subjects: the Freemasons! My favourite all-time fascination.
I loved the story. It's exciting, skeptic, it's filled with historic facts and beautiful theories, it's fascinatingly cunning and toe curling tense. It made me wake up in the middle of the night just to read some more.
I loved all the story lines that came together in the last 30 pages. I LOVED the ending. Dan Brown, you made me a believer! Thank you!
