Samenvatting

1940. America is marshalling its resources to join the fight against Hitler's Germany, but before it can become the Arsenal of Democracy, mysterious acts of sabotage, committed by the Nazi master-spy known as The Thunder, threaten to cripple the country. However, a new champion has arisen... one man who seems to succeed where even J. Edgar Hoover's mighty FBI has failed... the man of mystery known only as... Doc Dynamo, America's Ace Spy-Swatter Gerry CONWAY is the creator of The Punisher, Steel and Firestorm. His novels include The Midnight Dancers and Mindship. In television, Gerry has been a Consulting Producer for Hercules, Executive Producer of The Huntress and is currently Co-Executive Producer of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Gerry has been nominated for several Emmys and the Mystery Writers of America's Edgar Award. Roy THOMAS was editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics from 1972 to 1974, and is noted for his scripting of Conan The Barbarian, The Avengers, The X-Men and Incredible Hulk. He was voted by pros and fans the 5th-favorite comic book writer of the 20th century. Between 1980-2000, Roy co-wrote and sold nine screenplays, of which two (Conan the Destroyer and Fire and Ice, co-written with Gerry Conway) were made into films.
